Fill This Empty Portsmouth Storefront: Design Chocolates
What kind of business do you think should go here?
While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember," some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.
Carl Silvia's shop Design Chocolates at the Historic 1730 Almy House, located at 1016 East Main Road, was only open several months before closing its doors. The empty space is now vacant in the same plaza as Fieldstones and the Corner Consigner.
We want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location. What type of business would you like to inhabit this empty storefront?

turn the place into a retirement home for all rhode island politicians. and i mean all of them. throw them out of office. put them all into this space, i don't care how cramped they are. they don't care about us. and then sell tickets and allow residents to throw tomatoes at them with 3 tomatoes for $1.00
no politician is exempt, they are all crooks, past and present.
after all they are the ones that turned this once beautiful state into waste land.
