Tuesday, Feb. 19:
Music: Rhythm Quest Percussion, a youth-based percussion ensemble open to ages 12 to 18, is scheduled to get together tonight at 6. Give your future Lars Ulrich an outlet — and, the best part is that the program runs year-round. $30.
Boating: Herreshoff Marine Museum continues its After-School Boat Shop School today from 3 to 5 pm. For teens. Free; donations appreciated.
Nature: Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum continues its February vacation program for kids in grades 1 to 4. Day rate $40 members/$45 nonmembers; half-day $25. Space is limited.
Creatures: George Hail Library welcomes Biomes Marine Biology Center at 10:30 am. Free. For ages 5 to 10. Registration required.
Film: The Providence Children's Film Festival wraps up today — click here for the calendar of movies and showings. $7.50 adults/$4 kids.
Art: Rhode Island School of Design Museum offers two programs aimed at spurring kids' interest in the arts. Adults $12, kids 5-18 $3, kids under 5 free.
- Tours for Tots: Color Blocks, 2 to 2:45 pm. Ages 3-5.
Science: Julie Collier leads an exploration of birds of prey at Providence Childrens Museum's "Wingmasters" program. Shows at noon, 1 and 2 pm. Free with $8.50 per person admission.

Lets go to the roller rink, or bowling at Aquidneck Bowling alley or the Bowling lanes in Island Park, The Bastille must be having a dance, or just spend the day playing pinball, Maybe some early evening frost fishing! Maybe take the Short line bus to Fall River for a movie downtown and have chinese after then into Nadeau's for a vanilla coke,,lots to do this week!!!Video games , whats that?

my suggestion for Feb vacation is that we actually DO AWAY with it! lets just have 1 vacation in March and do away with the feb and april vacations.
