Cox Communications customers are experiencing phone outages Tuesday across the state.
According to Dana Nolfe of Cox, many Cox Business VoiceManager customers across Rhode Island are without phone service. Cox crews are working to restore service.
At this time, it is unknown how many customers are without phone service due to the outage.

Everyone can do their own thing, & that's fine by me, but for me I would never have my phone service done like that. As soon as there are problems within the cable system from a power failure, etc, not only do you lose your TV but as we see here your telephone service as well. Maybe a businees can handle that but at your home in a emergency you could be screwed.
