Rebecca McVicker was chosen the RIIL Student Athlete of the Month in October 2011. At the April award luncheon for the monthly award winners, Rebecca was named the "Female RIIL Student Athlete of the Year" for 2011/12.

Rebecca is a senior at Portsmouth High School and participates in Girls’ Soccer, Girls’ Basketball and Track. She is a member of the National Honor Society. In the community, she volunteers at a local animal shelter and at her local church.

Rebecca has also been a participant/fundraiser for the St. Jude Annual Fund Drive and other various fundraisers including Steps-for-Lives to raise money for cancer research. Rebecca is a top student and will attend Clemson University in the fall.
