Manager Matt Roy, Coach Shawn Nasser and Coach Gary Vaspol along with all the Parents would like to congratulate the 2012 Portsmouth Riverside Allstar Team for winning the "Riverside 18th Annual Invitational Tournament" This team went 4 and 1 to qualify for the playoffs of this tournament. They won there first game of the playoffs against Riverside on a walk off Home run from Jake Vaspol. they Won there second playoff game against Darlington behind wonderful pitching from Unai Loyola. The Championship game was played Saturday August 4th. Portsmouth is a team that never gave up. Behind 4 to 1 going to the top of the sixth inning against a team from East Providence Portsmouth scored 14 runs in the top of the sixth inning to win the game and also the Championship....We are all so proud of these boys for never giving up.
