Here's hoping someone takes the responsibility to restore Patriots Park to it's present condition "after" Occupy has occupied.

Whatever, let them do what they want. It's their right.

I'll be there. But expect question on your choice of causes -- your Facebook link to the IP landfill capping agitators makes me wonder.

Sounds like you think you are the self appointed arbitor of "cause qualifiers"
Please let the sheeple know if this group is McDaid worthy.

Hey John,
Thanks for coming! We appreciate it. We hope to draw attention to local causes. If Island Park is unsafe we really don't want children on the beach do we? But regardless that will not be our main cause. Our main 'cause' is the 99%, but all questions and concerns are appreciated and will be answered to the best of our ability at the General Assembly.

John, I guess it is never too late to have a second childhood. Is it?

Something we've learned from other occupations is to not reveal organizer names like that. there is a Facilitation Working Group meeting the same day as the GA at 4:45 pm. there may possibily be working group meetings before that. They will be announced via facebook and our website. Occupy Portsmouth RI on facebook and www.occupyportsmouthtemporary.webs.com

I hope you do take up legitimate causes and know what you are talking about. I saw an occupy group in NYC a few months back and it dawned on me that these people don't do much before noon. I would be intrigued to see you do something at 8am to show you can actually be awake and ready at the time most people work. It would make a big statement if you all volunteered to fix up a public location as a statement of goodwill.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson ,Paul Revere, John Adams, Patrick Henry, Abraham Lincoln, John Kennedy, Martin Luther King. Just a short list of Americans that did their thing. They were the 1% and the 100% on the income scale. They were not labeled by that but rather what each respectively did. Fess up your names as organizers, say something smart, doing something that engages all, otherwise: stay in bed.

The signers of the Declaration of Independence had the guts to sign their real names to the document, and the penalty for doing so was being hanged for treason. Why don't the organizers of this event see fit to reveal their true identities?

I will be happy to participate and look forward to meeting everyone. The communal spirit of shared interests and good will I observed in Zuccotti park and in Providence lead me to believe that Occupy as strategy for changing this country for the better is the correct course. Hopefully it will begin in Portsmouth and spread across the island.

Ignore! Ignore! Ignore this pathetic group. The less attention you give them, the sooner they are back to playing x box in moms basement.
