West Springfield, Mass. - Escobar Farm, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, was recently selected as the 2012 New England Green Pastures Dairy Farm award winner from the Ocean State. The award was presented at The Big E, Friday, Sept. 14. The New England Green Pastures award is given every year to outstanding dairy farms from each of the six New England States. Celebrating over nine decades, The Big E is the region’s largest fair, with an outstanding lineup of agricultural competitions, exhibits and entertainment for all ages.
